Where I've Been...

About Me

I was born and raised in Colorado where I learned a great respect for the outdoors and acquired a deep passion for exploring. Traveling with my parents from a young age, they imparted their love for photography and experiencing new cultures - essentially, I caught the travel bug and was hooked. I am now on a lifelong voyage that has taken me to over 50 countries on six continents; never at rest, I have traveled somewhere internationally every year of my life.

I invite you to follow my journeys around the globe as I attempt to convey my experiences to you through my photography and stories - it is what inspires and fuels my passion: to travel and share a new perspective on people, places and cultures thereby challenging preconceived notions or stereotypes about those people, their way-of-life or the places they live.

"One by one, sometimes bold, sometimes hesitant, sometimes demanding, sometimes faltering, they emerge - individuals. People, with voices, faces, eyes. People with hope. People without hope. People still fighting. People with all the courage squeezed out of them. People with stories." (Lorena Hickok) My goal is to share those stories and their settings with you. Join me.
